I just found Start9's Embassy, which is billed as a plug and play personal server for maximum privacy and sovereignty. Apparently they're planning on supporting Monero:

We plan on supporting a full Monero node, hosted from your personal server

I love this idea, but I haven't seen anyone in the Monero community talking about it. Any thoughts on this?
