Bitcoin has gone mainstream, what its future holds remain to be seen but just wanted see if I'm on the right track with regards my logic on where Monero fits in.
Given how much its been in the spotlight and gone mainstream now can we all agree that Bitcoin will be subject to further regulation and taxation?
If Bitcoin is digital gold and you're taxed on it, then if atomic swaps are successful that would make Monero and easily accessible Swiss bank vault where you can store your assets in secret.
Anyone got any thoughts on
1) the liklihood that atomic swaps are successfully implemented
2) if atomic swaps do come to fruition, what does it mean for Monero long term?
I have a very basic understanding of crypto in general to be honest so would be cool to hear analysis from someone who knows what they're talking about…
