I am very new to the Monero community but I am trying to understand something. Me personally, I see investing in crypto as a hedge against both fiat and a corrupt government. My family is from Venezuela and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what a corrupt government body did to the economy and currency of that country. With that being said, I’ve seen a lot of criticism of Monero and how it will never be adopted or supported by government officials. Wouldn’t that justify its technology and be more bullish than anything? Doesn’t that make it truly “decentralized” if corrupt governments around the world are completely and totally against it?
