I've noticed a huge number of karma-farmers/bots participating in this sub from accounts with a consistent naming convention that submit comments with dumb / simple / basic information that get a couple dozen upvotes.

Can we get some action on these accounts – banning them or reporting them to reddit admins? It's actively making reddit worse.
