Just started up a full node by following the guide at https://sethforprivacy.com/guides/run-a-monero-node-advanced! Not sure if there's any specs or information y'all would want me to post, but it seems to already be ~30% synced at the moment.

Total noob so I didn't use the "public-node" setting, but I'd appreciate if anyone would be able to enlighten me as to what the pros and cons between a regular(?) or public node are, or any general node running info I should know. I'd love to hear or learn more about it and possibly switch to a public one if it's viable or better for the community. Thanks!
