Someone close to me just got scammed to put cash into a bitcoin ATM

What are some resources to recover the money/bitcoin, and where to report?

So far we are looking into the FBI local field office, the IC3 and local police.

I've heard to stay away from recovery firms as they are scams themselves.

Any advice?
