The metal plates are too expensive, bulky and some of them still get ruined in a fire, so I would like to know if something like a soda can would be durable for etching my seed. Yes I know they don't do well with extreme heat like in a fire but I would like to know if they don't rust and can last for years (I'm not sure what materials they are made out of anyway)
