Hey guys,

I was testing out the official Monero GUI wallet. I had the same wallet configured the same way in Windows 11 and macOS.

I upgraded the macOS version to 0.18 this morning and it started syncing the Daemon blocks. Several hours later, it is still going. The data.mdb is over 100 GiB as counting.

I have not upgraded the Windows version from 0.17 to 0.18 yet, and the data.mdb is only 80 KiB. The wallet is fully syncronised though. It says I am running a local node. How is this even possible?
