I’m well aware of the potential dystopian control CBDCs will allow a government have over its population. But couldn’t CBDCs also provide liquidity to Bitcoin? Wouldn’t most people trade their CBDCs for Bitcoin and only trade back to CBDCs at time of payment? Or is the assumption that governments will ban converting from CBDCs?
