Has anyone self certified themselves for margin trading without meeting the requirements of having a net worth of $5mil or more? Trading isn't as profitable without being able to short positions… Just wondering what would happen if I did certify myself, I can't seem to find anything about the consequences for not meeting the requirements in their terms of agreement. Has anyone already been down this rabbit hole and can shed some light?
