I am looking to start monthly Monero meetups in Türkiye. There was a Bitcoin & Monero meetup hosted by u/HorixonCrypto a couple months ago and one way back in 2017 during u/SamsungGalaxyPlayer world tour.
Although it is "illegal" for merchants to accept crypto as a form of payment in Türkiye, there is a growing interest in crypto for trading and as a store of value.
It is a great time to on board more people in the region and help spread the word on the importance of on-chain privacy.
